Position Overview
CareOne Senior Care is hiring compassionate Senior Companions to provide one-on-one support to older adults in their homes. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, building meaningful relationships, and helping seniors remain safe and independent.
This particular posting requires caregivers who can transport clients to appointments, errands, and outings. Valid driver’s license, vehicle registration, and current insurance are required.

Key Responsibilities
-
Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support
-
Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and nutritious meal preparation
-
Support clients with dementia or Alzheimer’s care needs
-
Provide personal care (bathing, dressing, hygiene, toileting)
-
Perform safe transfers using gait belts or Hoyer lifts (training provided)

Transport clients to errands, outings, and medical appointments
-
Ensure safety, comfort, and dignity at all times
Job Requirements

Strong communication skills
-
Ability to lift 25 lbs. and perform bending, kneeling, and walking

At least 18 years old

Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation

Mobile phone for communication and scheduling

Reliable, punctual, and professional
-
Must pass a background check

Current TB test (can be completed after interview)
