Sr. Solutions Consultant - Global Trade
As a Sr. Solutions Consultant specializing in Global Trade, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle. You will partner with sales, product, and customer success teams to deliver tailored demonstrations, uncover customer requirements, and articulate the value of our Thomson Reuters Global Trade solutions. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with deep domain expertise and a passion for solving complex trade and compliance challenges.
About the Role
In this opportunity as Sr. Solutions Consultant, you will:
Lead technical discovery sessions with prospective clients to understand business needs and compliance requirements.
Deliver compelling product demonstrations and solution narratives tailored to global trade personas.
Support RFP responses and solution architecture discussions.
Collaborate with sales to qualify opportunities and shape deal strategy.
Mentor junior consultants and contribute to onboarding and enablement programs.
Provide structured feedback to product teams to influence roadmap decisions.
Maintain demo environments and develop reusable assets for presales engagements.
Partner with marketing and product marketing to refine messaging and positioning.
Ability to be agile with time zones when working with internal partners from time to time.
About You
You're a fit for the role of Sr. Solutions Consultant if your background includes:
Minimum 5 years of experience in global trade, supply chain, or trade compliance.
Strong understanding of trade operations, customs regulations, and import/export processes.
Proficiency in SaaS platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and Artificial Intelligence
Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, International Trade, or related field (preferred).
Preferred Attributes
Experience with Thomson Reuters Global Trade or similar platforms.
Experience in Sales, Presales, or Customer Success
Familiarity with ERP integrations and API-based architectures (Oracle, SAP, or similar platforms).
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Creative problem-solving mindset and customer-first orientation.
