The Director, Indirect and Contractor Partner Sales is responsible for leading the Indirect and Contract Partners to meet and exceed sales goals. This position manages the field sales contractor team responsible for generating connects towards the Field Sales budget. This position also manages the Master Agent relationships and agreements for Indirect. What you'll be doing: Include but are not limited to the following: * Works with Senior leadership, finance, marketing, and product to develop annual budget/strategy objectives * Develops and manages competitive contractor and Indirect sales strategies and defines target accounts to meet sales objectives including customer penetration and revenue goals * Responsible for day-to-day sales activity management, funnel activity, territory management, support staff, and customer focused sales efforts for a team * Determines market potential for company's services and prepare sales forecasts for the sales channel * As a sales and program leader, this role will require coaching, observing and providing feedback to team members * Manage and monitor functions related to staffing including selection, training, development, performance evaluation termination and salary * Responsible for communicating product, pricing and company projects and initiatives * Responsible for execution of indirect channel training on new and existing products and services. * Monitors the performance of Third-Party partners and takes corrective action as required. * Provides primary interface with other regional and corporate sales/marketing staff. * Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. * Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; leading, motivating, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. * All other duties as assigned What YOU need is: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Minimum Required Education and Experience * Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year College or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience * 10+ years related work experience including significant experience in channel and partner management, preferably in the cable industry * 10+ years leading people * Proficient with Microsoft products and utilizing other web-based applications. * Ability to learn new software systems and access online support/tools. Skills and Abilities to be Successful in this Role * Proven track record of successful professional sales experience * Deep understanding of indirect sales models * Experience designing and launching partner incentive or compensation programs. * Exceptional organizational and time management skills * Strong analytical and negotiation skills * Strong sale management experience * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability to speak in public and motivate others * Ability to meet strict deadlines. * Must be highly organized, flexible, detail-oriented and able to multi-task under pressure. * Ability to work beyond normal business hours including evenings, weekends and holidays as necessary. * While performing this job's duties, the employee must have and maintain a valid driver's license and driving record that meets WOW's insurance company's standards.
