Advertised Salary: $48,000 to $50,000 - Salary commensurate with qualifications pursuant to the FSU and FNTFO/AFT Agreement FLSA: Exempt Temporary/Continuing: Temporary Part-Time/Full-Time: Full-Time Union Group: Ferris Nontenure-Track Faculty Organization (FNTFO) (AFT) Term of Position: 9 Month At Will/Just Cause: Just Cause Summary of Position: The Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences seeks qualified candidates to teach courses in Cultural Anthropology, Physical Anthropology, and/or other Anthropology courses in keeping with instructor qualifications and department demand. This is a pooled position. One or more applicants maybe be hired as needed to teach classes on a semester-by-semester basis. Position Type: Faculty - Temporary & Continuing Required Education: Master's Degree in Anthropology. Required Work Experience: Evidence for potential for effective and innovative instructional practice. Required Licenses and Certifications: Physical Demands: Office Environment Bending Moving Reaching Sitting Twisting Repetitive Movement Standing Additional Education/Experiences to be Considered: Ph.D. or ABD in Anthropology or closely related discipline. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Teach general education and program-required courses in Physical Anthropology, Cultural Anthropology, and/or other Anthropology courses as required by the department and depending on candidate interest and qualifications. Marginal Duties/Responsibilities: Skills and Abilities: Ability to provide structured learning experiences utilizing official course learning outcomes.
