Understand and define project specifications and performance requirements at the board and system level. Provide conceptual and detailed designs including schematic capture using OrCAD and simulations using PSpice. Contribute to FPGA (Xilinx) firmware development (VHDL/Verilog). Manage design projects from concept though to production release. Troubleshoot electrical systems to identify the root cause of system failures and execute corrective actions. Contribute to the overall system design and execution by supporting system level schematics, cable designs, and feature integration. Write technical documentation that meets the defined quality standards for the engineering, manufacturing, and service teams as required. Support regulatory compliance activities (CE, UL, CSA, and SEMI) from the board level through full system certification. Convey technical information to partners with technical and non-technical backgrounds. Develop effective technical presentations up to the Product Life Cycle (PLC) level. 30% domestic travel within US. Salary range: $126,714-$156,200 per year.
Position requires: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering or a related field (or foreign equivalent), plus 3 years of experience in the job offered, or in a related occupation.
