Who You Are \n\nSlalom Consulting is looking for an experienced, entrepreneurial, and progressive leader to drive Enterprise Business Applications, including Salesforce services and client success with our Detroit, Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo and Toledo clients within the healthcare, life sciences, manufacturing and supply chain, public sector and financial services space. The Salesforce leader will provide thought leadership to our enterprise and mid-market clients, set strategic direction for the "Go-to-Market" practitioners and generally be accountable for ensuring the overall quality execution of business and technology consulting across all Salesforce pursuits and engagements. \n\nThe candidate for this position will be located in the Detroit metropolitan area.\n\nWhat You'll Do \n\nThis role connects region or country-wide Capability strategy with market needs, acting as subject matter expert and thought leader at external events, and collaborates with industry partners to identify opportunities. Accountable for the Go-to-Market "GTM" focus within the Detroit, Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo and Toledo markets to drive sales, pursuits, solutioning, and account management. Also, contributing to delivery in billable roles, recruitment, and operational aspects of the Capability and market, including: \n\nCapability Vision & Strategy\n\n * Connects and drives region or country-wide Capability strategy to the Market based on client portfolio, market maturity, and geographic makeup\n * Works with regional and company leaders to bring the Vision of our Enterprise Capability to life, driving connection between our local markets and regions to our global strategy.\n * Tailors the market GTM strategy to align with local industries, clients and communities.\nBusiness Development & Sales\n\n * Partners with Industry aligned client partners and sales executives to identify and pursue potential opportunities related to Capability\n * Individually acts as a Solution Lead or SME in the pursuit process, identifying appropriate SME from broader Capability team as needed\n * Focuses on specific Customers aligned GTM strategy, driving targeted and bespoke sales motions.\n * Participates in multi-Capability solutioning and client outcome based selling motions with GTM team\n * Driving overall growth of the Detroit, Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo and Toledo Salesforce and overall Enterprise Business Applications Capability through a combination of business development, solutioning, talent management, oversight of delivery work, and thought leadership \n * Driving business development and solutioning complex deals, cultivating and nurturing key relationships within Slalom and Salesforce, and passionate about attracting and growing industry specific talent \n * Building and develops relationships with our Account and Industry teams, as well as Salesforce teams to drive account planning and joint pursuits \n * Developing leading practice for GTM activities and focus, sales solutioning, and reusable collateral for sales accelerators \n * Maximizing team performance through an effective team approach that increases productivity and job satisfaction \n * Maintaining awareness of industry leading practices and business levers for Enterprise Business Applications offerings and understand how Slalom pursuit teams interact \n * Proactively seeking out speaking opportunities within the geographic Market as Capability SME and thought leader at external conferences and events to generate net-new opportunities.\n * Identifies and works with Marketing and Operations to plan Slalom-led thought leadership events, in context of Capability and related Client Outcomes.\n * Works to proactively ignite awareness and generate demand for Capability and related client outcomes in the market. Participates in Campaigns, RFIs, RFPs, workshops and POCs to ignite specific opportunities.\n * Research client portfolio needs and adjusts focus to topics of resonance. Focuses on building client relationships at target and active client portfolio.\nDelivery\n\n * Providing engagement oversight and governance of Salesforce projects in market to ensure delivery quality \n * Mentoring and upskill delivery team members through practice leadership and establishment of best practices \n * Resource Pipeline\n * Participates in Market specific and Capability specific rhythm of business for hiring, staffing, workforce planning; participates in planning process for Market dedicated Capability pool.\nPeople Development\n\n * Supports the development of the small team of direct reports due to GTM focus, including leading other market or office Capability GTM Leads within the same Capability or who are focused on a specific sub- Capability /discipline. \n * Acts as mentor to other practitioners in area of Capability working to serve Market's portfolio.\n * Participates in performance management via providing Feedback on Capability team members assigned to Market's pursuits and delivery.\nFinancial Management\n\n * Works with Market's GTM team and broader Capability leadership to create Capability specific growth and cost projections.\n * Works to achieve forecast against revenue and works with Market GTM leadership to identify when a Capability is unhealthy at Market level and agree to escalation of dedicated team members to next geo tier for staffing.\nWhat You'll Bring \n\n * 8+ years' experience in a large consulting environment\n * Deep understanding of the healthcare, life sciences, manufacturing and supply chain, public sector and financial services space, including current trends, growth opportunities, technology enablement, and regulations\n * Expert business development and client management skills, including C-level relationships\n * Track record of successfully implementing Salesforce cloud solutions\n * Technical understanding of Salesforce with demonstrated understanding and experience with Salesforce architecture\n * Active Salesforce certifications or ability to achieve relevant certifications upon hire\n * Exposure to Software Development Life Cycle methodologies\n * Expert at program management and delivery \n * Expert communication (verbal and written)\n * Expert business operations (e.g., proposal development, SOWs, price modeling, margins, utilization)\n * Skilled at managing multiple complex pursuits at once\n * Excellent mentoring and leadership skills \n * Track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow through\n * Strong work ethic with the proven ability to excel in a fast-paced, highly innovative environment\n\nAbout Us\n\nSlalom is a fiercely human business and technology consulting company that leads with outcomes to bring more value, in all ways, always.
