Position Title: Program Manager – Discover/Shop IT Ecosystem
Location: Hybrid (4 days in office)
Position Overview:
This role is responsible for planning and executing projects and programs that deliver solutions for Ford North America's Discover/Shop websites. The Program Manager will support the NA Vehicle eCommerce Engineering Group and lead cross-functional coordination across IT, vendors, and business teams to ensure successful deployments and continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Program & Project Management
- Serve as Program Manager across the Discover/Shop IT ecosystem.
- Support the NA Vehicle eCommerce Engineering Group Manager with team coordination, process optimization, documentation, presentation development, and migration planning.
- Facilitate software development and deployment processes, ensuring consistency across applications while accommodating specific needs.
- Communicate status updates across multiple teams and stakeholders using clear, data-driven reporting.
Release & Deployment Coordination
- Lead the Cross Infrastructure Scheduling (CIS) process, including weekly meetings and agenda management.
- Oversee and approve scheduling for the MYCO Dates calendar to ensure balanced workload distribution.
- Manage Reveal Launches across vendors and applications, maintaining a comprehensive checklist.
- Create and maintain the code deployment calendar and monitor streamlined deployment processes.
- Align and manage release dates, fix versions, and sprints in Jira.
- Serve as back-up deployment approver and lead weekly Blue Card meetings for content publishing coordination.
Process Improvement & Collaboration Tools
- Identify process gaps and lead cross-functional teams to develop streamlined workflows.
- Act as liaison between working teams and Jira/Wiki admins to implement optimized collaboration processes.
- Serve as Business Analyst for Jira workflow changes, gathering and refining requirements for team adoption.
- Conduct quarterly Jira ticket reviews to ensure timely resolution and prevent ticket stagnation.
- Serve as back-up access approver for collaboration tools.
Vendor Management
- Act as primary liaison to vendors within the Discover/Shop ecosystem.
- Drive problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives in partnership with IT, business stakeholders, and technology vendors.
- Key vendors include: WPP, Dynatrace, Akamai, MotionPoint, Translations.com.
