CMM Operator
Sterling Heights, MI
What you'll do:
- Quality control and quality assurance of industrial processes of conforming and non-conforming products
- Perform work in accordance with quality standards and established safety standards
- Use optical compactor, heights gauges, calipers, dyes, gauge blocks and pins for physical inspections on parts
- Problem solving and troubleshooting issues with short orders and quality discrepancies
- Perform all aspects of and computer aided inspection, as well as visual and dimensional inspection
- Program CMM for fixtures, parts, and assemblies
- Inspecting final assemblies for welding and correct builds
What you bring:
- 3+ years' CMM operation and/or metrology experience
- Proficient use and knowledge of optical compactor, heights gauges, calipers, dyes, gauge blocks and pins for physical inspections
- Strong knowledge of GD&T and tolerancing
- Experience with PPAP
- ITAR experience is preferred but not required
- Keyence CMM experience is preferred but not required
