In this position, you make a real difference every day by helping students build the skills they need to succeed in school and beyond. You provide direct therapy and consultation to teachers, staff, and families, supporting students’ fine and gross motor development, sensory integration, coordination, and daily living skills. You collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other specialists to create a school environment where every child can thrive.

WHAT WE OFFER.
- $53,600 – $80,300 annual starting salary based on education and years of experience.
- Health insurance, or if no health insurance is needed—-we’ll pay you $643.19/month instead (yes, even during the summer break).
- Dental, vision, life, and accidental death/dismemberment insurance at no cost to the employee; CCISD pays 100% of premiums.
- Additional optional insurance benefits available.

WHAT YOU’LL DO.
- Collaborate with the Multidisciplinary Evaluation Team to assess and support students’ needs.
- Evaluate and develop individualized plans that improve students’ motor coordination, sensory development, and functional independence.
- Provide direct therapy to students in alignment with their IEP goals.
- Consult with teachers, physical and speech therapists, and families to support progress in the classroom and at home.
- Supervise and guide Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs).
- Maintain accurate documentation and records for compliance and reporting.
- Ensure therapy equipment and materials are well-maintained and accessible.
- Attend IEP meetings, trainings, and team sessions to stay connected and share best practices.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited occupational therapy program.
- Current registration with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
- A collaborative, student-centered professional who enjoys working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- A compassionate, well-organized individual with strong communication skills.
- Ability to lift or move equipment and assist students as needed.
- Someone with a desire to continually increase their knowledge and an unrelenting ability to make positive change in the lives of students.
