Strength Requirements: The primary responsibility of this role is to develop strength reliability for static strength and durability performance of vehicle frame, body, and chassis.
Job Description:
Develop strength and durability performance of vehicle frame, body, and chassis (suspension, axle, bushing) through prediction, evaluation, and analysis
Prediction: Analytical (hand calculation, design review) and CAE (FEA, MBD, other simulations) methods
Evaluation: Vehicle input load measurements and bench tests (static and fatigue), by collaborating with technician team members
Analysis: Data organization and visualization to extract trends, fatigue life calculation, failure analysis, etc.
Solve problems and develop countermeasures to achieve strength and durability performance targets according to vehicle development schedule.
