We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Facility Administrator to join our Facilities Management team as a key member responsible for coordinating and overseeing the day-to-day operations of multiple buildings within their region, with the majority of the space located in Grand Rapids, New Hudson, Southfield, and Lansing. Total statewide portfolio includes 620,000 square feet spanning seven (7) properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, managing a team of maintenance and support staff, and utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) software to track and analyze performance. This role requires a flexible and adaptable individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment and respond to building events and maintenance needs outside of regular business hours. This position can be based out of our New Hudson or Lansing location. * Oversee the operations of the assigned group, assist upper level management in specialized area of knowledge, supervise staff, establish goals and objectives for areas of specialization and measure performance related goals. * Administer tasks of the functional area assigned. * Execute initiatives that support continuous improvement efforts. * Supervise professional, exempt, non-exempt, non-bargaining and bargaining unit employees. * Responsible for general project oversight and/or problem resolutions. * Provide effective and efficient solutions to complex business problems. * Provide direct supervision and leadership to assigned subordinates. * Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred. * Two (2) to four (4) years experience in related departmental specific field. * Minimum of two (2) years supervisory experience. * Good organizational, planning, analytical, verbal and written communication skills required. * Ability to work effectively with limited direction in a team environment. * Familiar with facility contracts, negotiations, performance measurements and continuous improvement processes. * Capable of generating and manipulating reports using computer skills. * Other related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this job.
