Work collaboratively with all members of the Cardiovascular Medicine clinical team and all ACU administrative team in the FCVC Clinic to perform grid management/ Template Editor support, including addressing exam room approval inquiries. Additionally, perform charge reconciliation for CVC Clinic encounters
- To support all 6 ACUs - Service Line Template Editor to provide expert skill in navigating clinic grid openings, closures, provider template redesign changes, submission of cadence tickets and to assist with the rescheduling work at the CVC clinic and testing areas.
- Effectively oversee and coordinate associated rescheduling operations for routine closures with Call Center to ensure minimal impact to Bump Rate
- Effectively address urgent clinic closures and reschedules due to Template Redesign independently
- Serve as point person to provide room allocation for urgent and routine add on clinics/ appointments.
- Routinely monitoring Outlook and Michart inbasket inboxes for clinic room/grid change requests to fulfill in a timely fashion
- Management of the affiliated rooming Outlook Calendar to preserve accuracy
- Expected to be proficient in identifying problems, seeking and implementing solutions as it relates to Provider Templates and the associated Cadence functionality
- Demonstrate proficiency screening for appropriate CPT codes and modifiers based on visit type
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 3-4 years of experience
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology.
- Proficient scheduling utilizing Michigan Medicine scheduling systems
- Familiarity with professional medical billing.
- Demonstrated customer service excellence
