Teach courses primarily in American Sign Language and/or Interpreting. Depending upon the program’s needs and the candidate’s qualifications, teaching assignments may be on LCC’s downtown campus. Faculty are expected to work collaboratively with other program and/or department faculty to develop course content consistent with official course syllabi, to deliver course instruction to students and to be available for student assistance and advising outside of class. Additional responsibilities may include participation in course assessment, department/program meetings, professional development activities and other duties as assigned. Must demonstrate a commitment to the diversity of a multi-cultural population, as well as work effectively in a team-based environment, seeking continuous improvement and adherence to the community college philosophy.
