ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Perform frequent lifting, with weights occasionally up to 40 lbs.
Prompt and regular attendance.
Ability to be mandated over scheduled hours up to legal limit.
Timely completion of all job assignments.
As assigned, dust, wipe, wash, sweep, vacuum, and mop resident rooms, including furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
Move furniture and equipment as necessary.
Use cleaning solutions and disinfectants as directed.
Refill hand towels, tissue and soap, as necessary.
Strip, rinse, and wax floors.
Take down and rehang drapes and cubicle curtains.
Operate the following equipment: floor scrubber, washers, dryers, press, and associated
labeling equipment.
Complete all daily assigned duties following the respective assignment’s continuous work schedule.
Attend respective shift daily huddles.
Wash, dry and fold clothes and other items.
Mend clothes and other items.
Unpack and sort items received from suppliers.
Pick up soiled linen hampers from resident floors and replace with empty hampers.
Load clean linens on carts for distribution to resident floors; distribute resident laundry.
Fold clean rags.
Water plants.
Label resident clothes.
Requisition supplies, as needed.
Maintain a clean, orderly and safe work environment.
Attend required In-Services.
Immediately report malfunctioning or unsafe, or suspected malfunctioning or unsafe, equipment or conditions to supervisor.
Other duties may be assigned.
