Hours are Sunday-Thursday, 10:00pm-6:30am with overtime as needed.
Machine Operator:
Sets up jobs and tends to machine to keep it running and ensures good quality products are being produced.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Establish make-ready on machine (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle.
- Trouble shoot for machine malfunctions. Makes minor repairs and adjustments.
- Control and adjust machine settings to run jobs at expected rate.
- Monitor the efficiency of team assisting on the line and ensure the overall product quality generated.
- Keep machine running at desired speed, quickly resolving any jams or problems.
- Complete daily production/attribute report and hourly management reports.
- Perform quality checks and documentation.
- Routine maintenance procedures such as cleaning and adjusting mechanical parts.
- Completes appropriate paperwork as assigned to department.
- All other duties as assigned.
Experience and/or Educational Requirements:
- Working history in a position demonstrating mechanical experience, aptitude and competence working with hand tools.
- Working knowledge of diverse machinery.
- Strong analytical skills and passion for problem solving.
- Stable working history.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- An orientation toward process improvement.
