1st Shift | Monday - Friday | 6:30am - 3pm w/overtime as needed
Wynalda Packaging, formed in 1970, is an industry-leading packaging and folding carton manufacturer located in Belmont, MI. Currently, we are looking for a full-time Material Handler to join our team.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Moves material throughout the production area using a pallet jack
- Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items
- Operators jogger/aerator machine to turn stacks of paper product
- Ensures orderly production and distribution of products by delivering production materials and supplies where needed
- Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock
- Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders
- Keeps inventory, loading areas, and machinery clean.
- Learns and adheres to workplace safety regulations.
Education & Experience
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
- Prior manufacturing experience preferred but not essential
- Must be open to obtaining Hilo license/operating an industrial forklift. (We provide Hilo course and license)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
