Job Details

Under the supervision of the Executive Director, the ideal candidate will have experience in social services and skills for contacting clients, answering questions and distributing items like diapers and tax forms. The Outreach positions are the main access point for community residents who are seeking assistance through Agency programs.  Assistance is provided to clients with the application process.  Data entry skills, interpersonal skills and telephone etiquette a must. Ability to understand directions and follow through with them with minimal supervision.  Minimum of one year background training and/or experience in the field related to human services preferred. Travel is sometimes required. Must be able to work independently, as well as a team player.  Must have dependable vehicle and valid driver’s license. Background check is required.  Must be able to lift 40 pounds.  Education: High school graduate or equivalent; minimum 18 years of age.
