Copper Country Community Mental Health Services seeks a full-time Finance Director to join their team in Houghton, Michigan, beginning in the spring of 2026.
WHAT WE OFFER.
- $92,392 to $109,581 annually; starting wage will be based on experience.
- PLUS $5,000 sign-on bonus.

WHAT YOU WILL DO.
In this role, you’ll lead the financial operations of our community mental health services organization and play a key part in supporting our mission of improving lives every day. You will:
- Oversee all accounting and financial reporting functions.
- Manage budgeting and financial planning processes.
- Supervise claims and billing activities.
- Direct cash flow and treasury management.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and audit requirements.
- Prepare financial statements and State reports.
- Collaborate closely with the Executive Director and leadership team to maintain the agency’s financial health.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR.
- A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (MBA and/or CPA preferred).
- At least five years of progressively responsible experience in finance or accounting.
- A track record of leadership, collaboration, and clear communication.
- Advanced Excel knowledge (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP is a plus.
