Job Description
Skills Required:
Materials Management – Coordinate/plan part and prototype material orders using Client internal systems (e.g., GPIRS, Aurora, EzBudget) managing (transmissions/eDrive Units) build schedules to meet customer requirements. The role supports inventory accuracy and monthly forecasts from vehicle programs and external prototype builds. 2. Project Management – Serve as the functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) for materials ordering tools, organizational budget, and forecasting. Handle day to day maintenance working with the Powertrain Business Office (PTBO), Engineering, VEV, and Planning teams to ensure data accuracy and transparency. Provide executive level status reports as required. Work directly with Finance, Purchasing and Suppliers on the status of parts during the quoting. Maintain aligned processes across powertrain organizations and adhere to Client policy and procedures. Identify inefficiencies and recommend systems or reporting improvements and communicate risk and opportunities at executive level 3. Analyst - Business Analysis – : Analyze trends in forecasts and inventory performance on a monthly basis. Supports data-driven by analyzing material flow, cost trends,and prototype inventory Provide material financial analysis to Transmission and Driveline Engineering (TDE). 4. Material Planning – (similar to Materials Management) forecasting prototype material and plan based on forward model prototype programs, unit programs and external builds
Experience Required:
Strong leadership and organizational skills • Proven project management abilities • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) • Excellent verbal and written communication • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work in cross-functional and remote teams • Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized • Understanding of product development lifecycle (concept to launch) • Familiarity with Client engineering and financial tools (e.g., GPIRS, Aurora, EZ Budget)
Education Required:
