Qualifications:
- An associates degree (AA) in Early Childhood Education or child development or the equivalent; or willing to obtain a CDA credential within 18 months.
- Prior experience with Infant and Toddlers in an Early Head Start setting is preferred.
- Ability to work in cooperative and collegial manner with the Early Head Start co-teacher, families, Early Head Start partners, staff and community members.
- CPR/AED and First Aid Certified.
- Responsibility of employee to obtain and maintain all training(s), certificate(s), approval(s), etc. and provide documentation to the business office before the expiration date of said document(s).
- Must have regular and reliable job attendance, performance and the physical ability to do this job.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work at the physical level with infants and toddlers.
- Required to have a physical presence at the designated job site each scheduled work day.
