The Vice President Installation for the America's has accountability for all Installation project results. This role is responsible for the execution of installation efforts at customer sites under the safest conditions, providing the highest quality, in the most efficient way and achieving world-class customer satisfaction. This position reports to the Senior VP of Business Solutions and is responsible for the overall strategy of Mechanical, Electrical, and Pre-commissioning installation of Dematic's solutions. This is a critical role in sustaining Dematic's competitive advantage in the marketplace as a self-performing installation labor force in the supply chain industry. Dematic's installation activity is highly technical, and a strong knowledge of the material handling industry is required.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $200-300K at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications:
Provides leadership and develops strategies for Project Installation in alignment with the company's mission statement and strategic plan
Collaborates with the other functional departments to continue to improve on project execution
Establishes, monitors and controls departmental budget and capital spend
Creates project installation strategies and programs with significant business impact
Makes smart business decisions based on operational and financial Installation KPI's
Effectively builds a culture that fosters teamwork and cooperation to improve efficiency and synergies and reduce waste
Drives a Safety culture that represents best-in-class as Safety being the highest priority
Drives the Quality of installation deliverables to both internal and external customers
Ability to effectively create a collaborative, team-oriented environment including mentoring and motivating team members to be accountable for results.
Demonstrated experience in driving initiatives, while holding teams accountable for results and ensuring continuous improvement.
Ability to build credibility and confidence with a wide variety of leaders including internal stakeholders, customers and vendors and be seen as a trusted advisor.
Requirements:
Demonstrated experience of successfully leading a team of Project Installation employees (Installers, Supervisors, Managers, and Directors)
Proven experience successfully driving coordination and support of project execution teams in fields such as:
1) Subcontractor management and manpower planning
2) Project planning and document control
3) Material delivery/scheduling/management
4) Contract Management and associated correspondence with customers
5) Risk mapping & anticipated alert management
Past successes driving and managing change within a complex international, matrix organization
Outstanding team building skills with the ability to improve interaction and efficiency as well as the ability to break down barriers/silos
Experience with manpower planning, budgeting/forecasting, project planning, site management, installation, contract management, materials management and lean/continuous improvement methodologies
Experience in the analysis of performance metrics; short- and long-term technology development planning, evaluation, testing, and selection
Excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels both internal and external and competence in making timely, effective, principles-based decisions
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Construction Mgmt., Engineering, Project Management or related field. Master's Degree in Business Administration or Engineering is a plus
Willingness to travel approximately 40%
