**What Youll Be Driving:**
As an Enterprise Backup and Recovery Specialist, youll be the guardian of our digital assets, mastering our Cohesity kingdom. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, will include:
- Architecting Resilience: Taking the wheel in designing, engineering, and ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of Cohesity backup infrastructure.
- Pioneering Automation: Leading the charge in automating tasks that remove "work and noise" from the system. Imagine automating Cohesity protection group creation/deletion and streamlining GitHub pull requests for infrastructure changes. Youll be the architect of smarter, faster, and more repeatable processes!
- Fortifying Our Defenses: Collaborating closely with our security teams to implement robust security measures, including intrusion detection systems for DLP, insider threat mitigation, and access controls, ensuring our data is ironclad.
- Optimizing Performance: Configuring and maintaining our Cohesity backup servers and software to ensure peak performance and seamless operation.
- Crafting the Ultimate Safety Net: Establishing and maintaining cutting-edge backup and recovery procedures that guarantee business continuity during system failures or in the face of malicious threats.
- Becoming Our Proactive Sentinel: Monitoring usage patterns and SLA metrics to identify potential issues before they even whisper, proactively resolving them to ensure the continuous availability and reliability of critical systems.
- Charting the Future: Analyzing system capacity and performance trends to anticipate future infrastructure needs and providing strategic recommendations for investment prioritizations.
- Keeping Us Humming: Performing routine network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and enhancements, to keep our systems running smoothly.

- Must be a good person with a good personality and a team player.
