Job Summary:
Sarah Jones Ford is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Parts Counter Salesperson to join our team at the parts counter. This role is essential in supporting our retail customers, service department, and technicians by ensuring accurate and timely parts service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist retail customers, service advisors, and technicians with parts needs.
- Maintain and update parts inventory, including receiving, stocking, labeling, and organizing.
- Place orders with manufacturers and vendors as needed; track backorders and ensure timely fulfillment.
- Prepare and process parts invoices, credits, and returns.
- Support the service department with parts coordination and inventory accuracy.
- Occasionally assist with light clerical tasks, customer shuttle service, or other dealership support duties.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in automotive parts or service preferred, but not required — we will train the right candidate.
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems and parts is helpful.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable, adaptable, and a team player willing to assist in multiple areas of the dealership.
