The Copper Country Intermediate School District (CCISD) has immediate openings for dedicated Kitchen Staff in Hancock, Michigan.
WHAT WE OFFER.
- $17.50 or more per hour starting pay based on experience.

- No health insurance needed? We’ll pay you $643.19/month instead (yes, even during the summer break).

WHAT YOU WILL DO.
- Assist in preparing the kitchen for serving meals.
- Receive prepared food from our vendor and ensure its proper storage and handling.
- Serve meals in our common multi-purpose room while adhering to ServSafe guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in both the kitchen and dining areas.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen.
- Follow food safety regulations and procedures at all times.
- Complete reports/paperwork as needed.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.
- 18 years of age or older and a high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience working in a kitchen or food service environment preferred, but not required.
- ServSafe certified, or willingness to complete training to become certified is required.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and priorities.
