Job Summary

T.Dub's Pizzeria & Pub is seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee our culinary operations in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in food service management, with a focus on quality food preparation, team leadership, and exceptional customer service.

The Kitchen Manager is responsible for ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly, maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene, and delivering an outstanding dining experience to our guests.

Duties

• Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to food safety standards.
• Manage food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality and consistency.
• Oversee inventory control, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels.
• Train, develop, and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques and best practices.
• Assist with implementing staff scheduling and shift management to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
• Assist in conducting interviews and hiring new kitchen staff as needed.
• Collaborate with front-of-house management to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and compliance with health regulations.
• Assist in budgeting for kitchen operations and managing costs effectively.

Experience

• Proven experience in kitchen management or similar roles within the food industry.
• Strong background in restaurant operations is preferred; fine dining experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of and experience with soups, sauces, stocks, and gravies.
• Familiarity with culinary techniques, food handling practices, and safety regulations.
• Experience with inventory control systems; computer skills is beneficial.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
• Previous experience in training & development of staff members is essential.
• Knowledge of hospitality management principles is beneficial; experience in casual dining is a plus.
