Responsible for the design, development, testing, and roll out of software solutions that path finds and roadmaps enhancing capabilities of the KLA inspection machines' HPC and AI systems. Work with hardware and software interdisciplinary teams to analyze the system/marketing requirements and to map them to software requirements and design. Analyze algorithm use cases and provide solutions for enabling them to solve critical customer gaps or issues. Develop and evaluate concepts and designs for the next generation systems by conducting trade-off studies, identifying risk items, and suggest mitigation plans. Use electrical and computer engineering tools and techniques such as Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs), Variational Autoencoders (VAEs), as well as regression models. Use computer vision and image processing techniques to improve KLA technology’s ability to better automate machine learning tasks. Develop AI enablement software for large-scale data science experimentation of potential AI solutions. Enable high performance compute requirements (including GPU based compute requirements) for AI model training and inference use cases. Hybrid work schedule permitted. Salary range: $209,000- $250,600 per year
Minimum requirements: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field (or foreign equivalent), plus 8 years of experience in the job offered, or in a related occupation.
