Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Pre-employment Qualifications: Pass pre-employment drug screen, acceptable background check results including criminal history.
Education and/or Experience: Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, or work experience in related field / role. 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing buying/planning role. Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
Language Skills: Individuals must have good written and oral communication skills.
Reasoning Ability: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Computer Knowledge and Skills: 5+ years of working with ERP/MRP systems such as Acumatica, NetSuite, SAP, or similar platforms, along with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. They should demonstrate the ability to manage vendor data, analyze purchasing trends, and support cost control initiatives through system tools and reporting. Familiarity with lean principles and just-in-time (JIT) purchasing practices is preferred. Professional certifications such as APICS CPIM or CSCP are considered a plus.
