- Ability to manage the technical sales process: prospecting, lead identification, needs assessment, solutions presentation, negotiating, gaining commitment, closing, and post-sales management.

- Strong solutions (products and services) knowledge, applications, and demonstration capabilities.

- Proficient in MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), managing clients / prospects in a CRM system.
- Travel as required to participate in trade events, customer site visits, and prospect calls. Greater than 40% of time dedicated to overnight travel.
- Neat appearance, grooming and dress consistent with the desired image of Powell.
