Our client in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry is looking for a Director of Marketing Effectiveness.
This is a part-time (20-30 hrs/week), remote contract role.
The role starts October 1 (sooner for the right fit) and is expected to last 3-6 months.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in Creative Strategy, Integrated Marketing, and Insights & Analytics
- CPG background
- Experience with AI/Machine Learning tools and platforms such as VidMob
- Familiarity with creative performance metrics and tools (e.g., WARC, Cannes Lions)
- Comfortable scaling DAM systems (such as Adobe DAM) and martech/adtech stacks across teams
- Confident to influence and align cross-functional global and regional teams
- Strong storytelling, presentation, and workshop facilitation skills
Responsibilities:
- Drive adoption and change management of creative effectiveness tools and frameworks across global regions
- Own and scale the Creative Taxonomy tied to the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system
- Support DAM governance, agency compliance, and monthly asset uploads
- Lead integration and global scaling of VidMob Creative Analytics, including contract scoping for 2026
- Embed foundational brand tools and best practices across teams and agencies
- Conduct quarterly creative reviews and workshops with brand teams and agency partners
- Collaborate with Insights & Analytics to isolate creative performance drivers and implement predictive scoring
- Develop training materials, white papers, and educational content for marketers and agencies
- Steward new creative effectiveness criteria by platform and ensure global understanding and adoption
- Partner with regional stakeholders to build a 2026 roadmap and test-and-learn plans by brand and category
Nice to haves:
- Experience with global marketing centers of excellence
- Familiarity with decentralized organizational structures
- Exposure to emerging AI capabilities in creative testing
- Background in managing or collaborating with international agency networks
- Understanding of creative scoring systems and their impact on agency performance incentives
