Job Title: Logistics Equipment Maintenance Technician
(Stacker Crane, Conveyor, Lift, AGV, and other logistics automation equipment)
Location: Lansing
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Logistics Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team. This role is responsible for maintaining and improving the performance of logistics automation systems, including stacker cranes, conveyors, AGVs, and lifts. The technician will be responsible for equipment troubleshooting, repairs, preventive maintenance, cleaning, and safe shutdown procedures. This position requires working on a 3-shift rotating schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting of logistics FA (Factory Automation) equipment including stacker cranes, conveyors, AGVs, and lifts.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system issues in a timely manner.
Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.
Perform equipment shutdowns in accordance with safety and operational procedures.
Conduct regular equipment cleaning and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Respond promptly to unexpected equipment failures to minimize downtime and ensure operational continuity.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to enhance equipment performance and system integration.
Document maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and parts replacements accurately.
Assist in the installation, modification, and upgrade of automation equipment.
Monitor spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement with suppliers.
Adhere to all company safety standards and operational policies.
Qualifications:
Hands-on experience in the maintenance and troubleshooting of industrial machinery, including mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
Strong problem-solving skills and technical aptitude.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.
Familiarity with industrial safety practices and standards.
Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer skills for logging maintenance tasks and monitoring systems.
Effective communication skills in English; Korean language proficiency is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical certification or degree in mechanical, electrical, or automation engineering.
Experience with PLCs, robotics, or automated storage/retrieval systems (AS/RS).
Knowledge of 2D/3D CAD or familiarity with equipment visualization software.
Working Conditions:
3-shift rotation schedule, including weekends and holidays as required.
On-call duty for emergency response to unplanned equipment downtime.
Physically able to access and clean equipment in high-bay warehouse or industrial environments.
PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and safety training provided by the company.
