Project Manager - Engineering Programs Sterling Heights, MI Contract Position $71.05-$79.60/Hour Ability to Obtain and Maintain Secret Clearance Join a team dedicated to designing and producing armored combat and support vehicles. Responsibilities: * Apply project management principles to plan, execute, and monitor engineering projects * Generate and manage project plans, integrated schedules, and funding mechanisms * Forecast and maintain project demand files; establish and track project metrics to monitor performance * Drive operational excellence through cross-functional collaboration and Agile methodologies * Lead vehicle system-level design, integration, build, and test activities * Facilitate and support technical and programmatic events; coordinate problem reports and manage change processes * Serve as a primary technical interface with GDLS leadership, internal teams, and external customers * Prepare and support bids, proposals, and RFI responses * Evaluate customer feedback, propose process improvements, and implement corrective actions to resolve technical risks Qualifications: * Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related field (advanced degree/MBA preferred) * Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. citizenship required) * Experience: Minimum 10 years relevant work experience, including 5+ years in Department of Defense or similar industry * Certifications: PMP (required); ITIL and SAFe 5 Agilist preferred * Proven experience managing large-scale engineering projects and leading design, development, and system integration * Expertise in Earned Value Management (EVM), Risk Management, and Teamcenter * Strong business acumen with experience in customer relationship management, proposals, and negotiations * Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and presentation development * Ability to travel as required Moseley Technical Services, Inc. is an AA/EEO/Veterans/Disabled Employer.
