Job Description As part of the Commercial Contracting organization, the Manager, Membership is responsible for the management of the GPO/IDN Membership Team. The Manager supervises a team of Membership Specialists and oversees the day to day operations of membership maintenance activities, including monitoring compliance with all policies, procedures, and good financial practices, including SOX. Essential Duties & Responsibilities * Responsible for the proactive and ongoing accurate administration and maintenance of GPO or IDN memberships and LOC/Rebate eligibility memberships. Conduct audits and spot checks on membership and eligibility groups to ensure accurate pricing, commitment tracking and admin fee or rebate payments. * Provide training and coaching to aid in the development of the Membership Specialists. Conduct individual 1:1's, group training and performance evaluations for all direct reports. * Develop and maintain clear Membership processes and procedures. * Ongoing audit of Membership and customer ship-to contract eligibility. * Collaborate with the Sales Contracting Analyst Teams to ensure the effective implementation and launch of new agreements and the assignment of customers to the appropriate pricing and rebate tier levels. * Audit Monthly and Quarterly rebate membership validation files processed by team. * Publish weekly trackers for activations (Pending, completed and declined) * Manage and monitor team mailbox to ensure timely response to eligibility inquires and requests so that customer orders are not delayed. * Work effectively with internal customers (Field Sales, Sales Contract Analysts, Sales Processing, Customer Care, Finance, and Data Governance) and external customers (GPOs, IDNs, Trading Partners) to resolve pricing/membership disputes. * Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Membership. Test new systems and enhancements prior to implementation and provide project support to management. * Manage the GPO Cross Reference Tool (cross references ICU Medical UID number to GPO Member ID #). * Support contract renewal and analysis process by analyzing sales and membership lists as requested. * Manage contract expirations and extensions in conjunction with the Sales Contracting team. * Identify and document any gaps in contract membership process and work with peers/management to resolve. * Review Ship-To / Sold-To Change Reports from Data Governance to determine if contract or membership maintenance is needed. * Maintain Operating Procedure, training material and job aids for the Membership Team. * Special projects assigned by management. * Work on special assignments as assigned. Knowledge & Skills * Demonstrated ability and methods to manage a team in a remote work environment. * Demonstrated ability to establish key metrics for measuring individual performance and overall team deliverables. * Understanding of end-to-end commercial contracting operations and how accurate customer pricing is maintained with this ecosystem. * Individual should possess good problem solving skills, the ability to plan, organize and manage a variable workload and meet deadlines with accurate results. * Must possess good oral and written communication skills. * Skill and ability to accomplish goals with little or no supervision and determine when escalation of issues is necessary * Interact with external customers and internally with cross-functional teams to resolve contract pricing or membership issues. * Experience in Model N or similar gross to net revenue management software system. * Intermediate-Advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) is required. Minimum Qualifications, Education & Experience * Must be at least 18 years of age * Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required.
