The ITAC/Energy Management Coordinator (Part-Time) is responsible for the implementation, coordination, and oversight of Monroe County Community College’s participation in the U.S. Department of Energy-funded Industrial Training and Assessment Center (ITAC) program. This grant funded role supports MCCC’s energy management goals by leading energy audits on campus and in partnership with regional businesses, supervising student involvement in fieldwork, and collaborating with apprenticeship sponsors to integrate energy efficiency practices. The coordinator ensures compliance with federal reporting, while promoting sustainability, workforce development, and experiential learning. Up to 29 hours per week.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a closely related field.
- Familiarity with sustainability principles and energy conservation practices.
- Experience in energy auditing, energy efficiency, or facilities management.
Must be able to travel locally to partner business sites and travel to out-of-state meetings as needed.
