1. Must possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in a Human Service field.
2. Have at least five (5) years’ relevant experience in the human services field with at least two (2) years in a supervisory role AND at least one (1) year working as a Recipient Rights Investigator within a Community Mental Health agency.
3. Possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a Michigan Driver License within 30 days of employment.
4. Must have reliable transportation that may have to be used to carry out job duties of this classification.
Preferred but not Required
1. Be licensed with the State of Michigan as a Social Worker.
2. Have at least two (2) years’ experience working within a Community Mental Health facility.
3. Bilingual candidates highly desired.
4. Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders valued.
5. Individuals in Recovery and individuals with experience in Armed Services valued.
