Job Summary
Rack Engineering Division, LLC is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Account Manager to join our team in Alpena, MI. In this role, you will engage with prospective and existing clients, ensuring their needs are met while identifying opportunities to grow and strengthen relationships. You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that align with our customers’ operational goals. Previous sales or customer service experience in an industrial environment is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily outreach to potential and existing customers.
- Present product and service offerings with clarity and confidence.
- Develop and execute long-term sales strategies.
- Monitor industry trends and customer preferences to inform sales efforts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and solution alignment.
Skills Needed
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Effective time management and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in sales and marketing, preferably in an industrial setting.
- Familiarity with 2D software and mechanical drawings is a plus.
Knowledge Required
- Understanding of sales processes and customer relationship management.
- Basic knowledge of industrial or manufacturing products (preferred).
- Awareness of market trends and customer needs.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and documentation best practices.
Ability to Implement
- Proactively engage clients via phone, email, social media, and virtual meetings.
- Deliver consistent, impactful product and service presentations.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
- Translate customer needs into actionable solutions with internal teams.
