Position: Human Resource Generalist
Department: Human Resource
Supervisor: Human Resource Manager
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Required
2-4 years experience in human resources
Must relate and interact with people at all levels of the Company
Payroll and benefits administration experience
Microsoft Office, AS400, & ADP
Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local government regulations as they relate to the human resource functions
Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
Desired
Associates/Bachelors Degree in Business, Human Resources, or Social Science
5 years experience in manufacturing, preferably in the Plastics industry
JOB SUMMARY

Is expected to ensure that human resources policies and procedures are properly interpreted, efficiently implemented and that all federal, state and local laws and statutes, as they relate to human resources practices are adhered to.
To support Human Resource Manager in various functions
I. PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Responsible for payroll, benefits and assist in training departments.
B. Assist in recruitment of personnel at all levels.
C. Arrange and direct new employee orientation.
D. Implement, co-ordinate, monitor and assist with the presentation of Company training programs.
II. COMMUNICATIONS
A. Ensure there are no production/quality interruptions or errors due to your lack of
giving or seeking information by fully informing the management of all events
affecting plant operations.
B. Maintain a Productive working environment by:
1. Promoting good communication and cooperation.
2. Maintaining positive habits and attitudes.
3. Create and maintain an atmosphere in the plant which will foster an
"open door" policy to improve employee communications and satisfaction.
IV. SAFETY
A. Follow company safety rules 100% of the time, and ensure that all procedures under the Occupational Health and Safety Act are being followed.
B. Reading, understanding and comply with company safety manual and job safety guide.
SECURITY AND HOUSEKEEPING
A. To ensure that no person(s) enters upon company property for the purpose of solicitation, reporting all instances to the senior site manager.
B. To ensure that no unauthorized people enter the company facilities. Verify that all doors are locked and lights, equipment, etc. are turned off when required.
