Our client is looking to hire a Business Analyst to serve as the senior BA  for the client’s mission critical applications. This position will take on a leading role in completing the activities associated with Request for Proposals (RFP), estimating costs to complete projects, establishing action plans, completing impact analysis, and implementing test strategies.

Tasks

• Collaborates with client professionals to develop requirements, analyze data in support of projects, make recommendations for process and business flows, and develop consensus on both business and system requirements.
• Serves as a liaison to vendors, and an IT system owner representing the agency for impact and strategic planning.
• Engages with the client in establishing and fulfilling the client’s strategic goals and objectives through exemplary delivery of IT Services.
• Informs and escalates issues and risks in a timely manner.
• Participate in IT initiatives as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

NOTE: Local candidates only. Candidates must be local to Michigan at time of submission. NO RELOCATION ALLOWED.  Resource will be working a hybrid schedule. NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION. Will need to be onsite from day 1, two days a week (Wednesdays are mandatory to be onsite. The other onsite day can be flexible).  This position may involve commuting between client offices located in the greater-Lansing area and possibly statewide for short periods of time and will require reliable personal transportation. Client will not reimburse the candidate for mileage. On-site interview required.

Location: Lansing, MI  (Hybrid – 2 days (Wed + 1 flex day)/week)
