Driver/Shop Labor
A global manufacturing company is seeking a Driver/Shop Labor for their Ypsilanti location.
What you’ll be doing as a Driver/Shop Labor
- Operate a pickup truck with a 20ft open trailer to deliver and pick up parts from vendors
- Drive an average of 3–4 hours daily to support delivery and pickup routes
- Assist with fabrication tasks using saws and grinders to cut and finish materials
- Perform routine preventative and basic maintenance on equipment
- Unload steel and move materials using overhead cranes and forklifts; maintain clean, organized work areas
What you’ll need to succeed as a Driver/Shop Labor
- 1 year of experience operating trucks with trailers
- Skilled in reading blueprints and cutting materials to length in a shop setting
- 1+ year of hands-on experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes
- Strong understanding of shop safety and material handling procedures
- HS diploma or equivalent

- $18 hourly
- Monday-Friday, 6:00am – 2:30pm
- Ypsilanti, 48197
