1. Possess a bachelor’s degree in a human services field from an accredited college or university.
2. Hold full, limited, or temporary licensure in the field of social work, psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or nursing OR
Have at least two (2) years of behavioral health experience treating or working with individuals in the areas of mental
illness or developmental disabilities, one (1) of which must be working with children, adolescents, and families in a Behavioral Health clinical, educational, or crisis intervention setting.
3. Must have completed the 40-hour MDHHS Behavioral Health Crisis Professional training or complete within six (6) months of hire.
4. Possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a Michigan Driver License within 30 days of employment.
5. Must have reliable transportation that may have to be used to carry out job duties of this classification.
Preferred but not Required
1. Bilingual candidates highly desired.
2. Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders valued.
3. Individuals in Recovery and individuals with experience in Armed Services valued.
