Role Purpose
Provides direct administrative support to Business Director and any other assigned leaders. We look for you to demonstrate knowledge of company operations, policies, and procedures. You will have access to sensitive information and will need to maintain confidentiality. This role will handle calendars and conflicting priorities/deadlines for leadership and divisional staff. Contacts are frequent within and outside the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, reserve conference rooms, provide technical support for conference calls and/or arrange appropriate media support
- Lead or assist event planning (offsite meetings, special events, recognition, team building)
- Prepare and review expense reports using Concur and purchase orders using PeopleSoft
- Handle domestic and international travel arrangements, visas and passports
- Collaborate with the Solar MAP admin team to advance office technologies, share standard methodologies, and provide back-up coverage
Experiences/Education - Required
- 3+ years of experience in Administrative Assistant roles
- High School Diploma/GED
- Professional, organized, detail oriented, manages multiple priorities
- Stays current on trends and is willing to adapt to new technologies and processes
- Excellent Outlook skills and MS Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); strong knowledge of computer software including SharePoint and Microsoft Teams
- Handles confidential and proprietary information with discretion and sound judgment
- Excellent communication skills – clear and succinct in a variety of communications settings and styles
Experiences/Education - Desired
- Associates degree desired
- Ability to quickly learn company operations, policies, procedures, and businesses
- Uses processes and standard tools and techniques to solve problems and drive improvements
- Experience in Corning specific IT programs and software (Concur, WebEx, SharePoint, PeopleSoft Procurement)

The range for this position is $49,636.00 - $68,250.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
