About the Role
- Provide clinical care in a 35-bed Level III NICU and a 12-bed Special Care Nursery
- NICU manages 700-800 admissions annually, with high-frequency ventilation, inhaled nitric oxide, and therapeutic hypothermia
- Team includes neonatologists, APPs, fellows, and residents
- Participate in academic case conferences and QI initiatives with Michigan Medicine
- Collaborate with MSU College of Human Medicine faculty and contribute to trainee education
- Optional service opportunities may be available at C.S. Mott Children's Hospital
Academic Affiliation
Includes a clinical faculty appointment at the University of Michigan with academic rank commensurate with experience. Faculty may participate in teaching, mentoring, scholarly work, and divisional academic activities.
Ideal Candidates
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
- Committed to clinical excellence, collaboration, and education
- Comfortable in a high-acuity, community-based NICU with academic affiliation
