As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will be part of the Department of Pharmacy Hematology/Oncology team, as well as multidisciplinary teams within the University of Michigan Rogel Cancer Center. University of Michigan Health is ranked nationally for the care provided to both adult and pediatric cancer patients, as well as many other specialties. Current hematology/oncology clinical pharmacists provide exceptional pharmaceutical care on the individual and population level. This pharmacist will provide care to ambulatory patients seen in the leukemia clinic, as an integral member of the multidisciplinary team. This team member will have the opportunity to practice under a Collaborative Practice Agreement for nausea, vomiting, constipation, and diarrhea, as well as participate in a nausea and vomiting patient-reported outcome text messaging program.

What skills would you master?
- You will assure safe and evidence-based, cost-effective use of medications, as well as contribute to formulary review and maintenance.
- You will assist in the development of staff educational and training programs within the Pharmacy Department
- As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will also be appointed as an adjunct faculty member in the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy where you will participate in the didactic and experimental training of pharmacy students and residents
- You will work individually and/or collaboratively on scholarly/research activity
- A Doctor of Pharmacy degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Current license to practice pharmacy in the State of Michigan (including a Controlled Substance license), verifiable in LARA; or eligibility to become licensed within 90 days of employment start date.
- A certificate of completion from an oncology residency, fellowship, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience is necessary.
- Experience in clinical pharmacy practice is necessary.
- Board Certification in Oncology Pharmacy is desired, but not required
This position is full-time, working Monday through Friday on day shift.
