The Position
Under the direction of the Senior Program Director, the Program Instructor is responsible for the high-quality lessons and participant engagement. This individual must maintain high personal standards and adhere to and carry out the mission of the Greater Midland Community Center.
Major Job Responsibilities
? Ensure high quality programs that are results-based driven, with proper planning and engaging lesson plans.
? Work cooperatively and professionally with all programparticipants, parents, Greater Midland Staff and Volunteers.
? Ensure that facilities, equipment and supplies are secured for each program session.
? Ensure that character development is present in all programs (caring, honesty, respect, responsibility).
? Complete, in a timely manner, all requests from supervisor in the achievements of department and center goals/objectives.
Qualifications
? CPR/First Aid/AED; preferred.
? Minimum age of 16.
? Excellent people skills; ability to work with a wide variety of personalities.
? Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Physical Requirements
? Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
? Ability to continuously physically engage at a child’s level.
Schedule
Thursday from 4:45p to 7:45p; weekends – time varies.
