Schedule: 7:00-9:00am Monday-Friday, 3:00pm-6pm Monday-Thursday, 11:30am-6pm Friday

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable Before & After school Child Care staff member to join our team. The Before & After School Child Care staff will be responsible for overseeing and engaging children in a safe, structured, and enjoyable environment. This role includes facilitating activities, assisting with homework, and maintaining a positive and inclusive atmosphere. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, excellent communication skills, and the ability to contribute to a collaborative team.
Responsibilities:
Essential Duties:

Supervise children during before and after school hours, ensuring a safe and positive environment for all students.

Plan and implement age-appropriate activities, games, and crafts that foster creativity and learning.

Assist children with homework, providing support and encouragement as needed.

Monitor children's behavior and address any conflicts or issues in a constructive manner.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment, adhering to health and safety standards.

Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.

Regular and predictable attendance.

Other duties as assigned.
Cognitive Demands:

Be able to perform first aid/CPR if necessary

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in child development, education, or related fields is a plus.

Previous experience working with children in an educational or caregiving setting preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members and maintain a positive attitude.
