Responsible for mechanical engineering activities necessary to support and sustain new product introduction (New Product Introduction) for eBeam semiconductor inspection systems. Investigate possible design or process improvements based on data analysis by reviewing technical design documents in Enovia a Dassault System Mechanical Engineering Software. Develop and test and implement design and process improvements of high failure parts to improve serviceability and reliability of products. Collect parametric tool data using SQL queries from internal servers for spec validation. Perform spec validation data analysis using data analytics software such as Minitab, JMP and Python. Prepare test document proposals and coordinated testing on tools. Analyze test data using statistical methods such multivariate analysis to understand root cause. Serve as the central technical resource for mechanical engineering-related issues and interface with design engineering, manufacturing, technical support, quality, marketing, and field support teams as the products move through their product life cycle (PLC). Develop reliability models using RAM analytics and BlockSim software. Analyze data using Python from problem subsystems in tools in the field and to determine root cause to drive the continuous improvement of mechanical system hardware, diagnostics and software, tooling, technical documentation, knowledge management, and training. Develop new designs of parts and systems with manufacturing and division engineering to limit early life failures of parts. Review engineering drawings using CAD modeling software Solidworks with other engineers. Provide mechanical engineering support in complex beta testing and escalation efforts, analyze data from various sources, and work with divisional experts to provide a detailed action plan suitable for execution by customer service engineers (CSEs) and technical support engineers (TSEs). Develop training material for hardware subsystems to train field engineers, New Product Introduction engineers and system engineers. Salary Range: $119,700-$156,200 per year.
