The Design and Construction Technologies Management (Construction Management) Adjunct is responsible for teaching courses that include such content as estimating, scheduling, construction project management, and construction contract law. The successful candidate may also be required to teach classes in construction materials and methods, construction technologies, mechanical/electrical/plumbing systems, building information modeling, sustainable construction, energy management, and/or building commissioning. The successful candidate will be able to adjust instructional techniques as required by individual student learning styles while maintaining a safe and positive learning environment for students and fellow faculty members. Dedicated commitment to construction safety and quality construction standards is necessary. Teaching assignments may include daytime and/or evening hour and face-to-face instruction.
Regular on campus presence is expected for all LCC employment. Any flexible work schedules and/or hybrid work schedules approved by the College are subject to change based on the needs of the LCC community.
