Starting Salary Range: $116,000.00 - $143,900.00
Position Summary:
Manage all aspects of sourcing capabilities and supply chain to efficiently and cost-effectively support organizational business and operational functions. Support operational requirements, manage the procurement process, and supply base efficiently and effectively. Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders and support organizational goals and strategic objectives. Develops and manages BWL policies and procedures related to procurement in accordance with public procurement standards and ethics.
Essential Functions:
- Oversee the operations and daily activities of the department
- Establish and implement procurement policies, procedures, best practices, and monitor compliance.
- Develop and maintain vendor management program with supported KPIs (cost/delivery/quality).
- Performance management and development and mentoring of staff.
- Lead team effectively and demonstrate conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to promote integrity and business ethics; demonstrate mature judgment, trust, and open communication; ability to ensure effective teamwork, collaborative behavior, and team spirit.
- Ability to develop collaborative and harmonious relationships with external partners and clients at senior level.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to persuade and influence others.
- Communicate with other departments and management peers to identify opportunities and resolve problems to effectively manage supply chain requirements.
- Resolves complaints and answers questions about purchasing, inventory, investment recovery services, ethics, and purchasing policies and procedures.
- Produce regular reports to support business owner needs and required annual reporting per BWL Procurement Policy.
- Manage risk relating to contract administration and negotiations, vendor management and supply chain.
- Establish and monitor KPIs on all aspects of the supply chain such as price, delivery, quality, lead-time, inventory, customer satisfaction and vendor relationships.
- Lead continuous improvement of procurement processes in line with changing organizational needs and market conditions.
- Adhere to safety procedures and processes and cultivates a generative safety culture.
- Expected to comply with all BWL policies and work rules.
- Predictable and reliable attendance.
- Other duties as assigned by CFO.
