Position: Marketing Coordinator I
Employment Status: Grade 8 / Non-Exempt
Reports to: Marketing Leader
Position Overview
The primary purpose of this position is to assist Members First Credit Union to deliver on its mission, vision, and brand promise. You will do this by living out our core values in every service contact to both internal and external members. Essential Duties

Develop, implement, track, and optimize marketing initiatives, both digital and traditional

Develop and manage website content

Build and manage email campaigns and automation, providing insights and performance suggestions

Successfully obtain Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC) designation through America's Credit Unions within the first year of service with M1
Duties and Responsibilities

Assist with content creation, including writing, designing, revising, filming, or editing

Create content for social media and monitor account engagement

Manage lobby screen and phone marketing with Works24
-
Conduct marketing research as needed
-
Design marketing collateral using Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva
-
Capture and maintain a library of imagery and video content from branch and community events
-
Write and design materials for targeted campaigns and blog posts
-
Maintain and update website content, including rate changes
-
Support development of youth program materials
-
Represent the credit union at community events
-
Complete other assigned duties and projects

Experienced with social media and marketing platforms

Knowledgeable of marketing trends, HTML, and CMS systems

Effectively apply FiCEP financial counseling concepts

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field

Minimum of 2–3 years of related professional experience

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva

Basic knowledge of HTML and CMS platforms

Strong multitasking and prioritization abilities
