Position: Member Service Representative I
Employment Status: Pay Grade 4 / Non-Exempt
Reports to: Branch Leader
Position Overview
The primary purpose of this position is to assist Members First Credit Union to deliver on its mission, vision, and brand promise. You will do this by living out our core values in every service contact to both internal and external members. Essential Duties

Receive and process member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and account maintenance

Collaborate with branch staff to cross-sell and increase member share of wallet

Follow all security and compliance procedures during transactions

This is an in-branch role requiring availability Monday–Friday 8 a.m.–5 p.m., with Saturday business hours and occasional after-hours meetings or trainings

Successfully obtain Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC) designation through America’s Credit Unions within first year
Duties and Responsibilities

Build relationships with members by identifying financial needs and recommending appropriate credit union solutions

Maintain sales and service performance expectations

Handle member inquiries and assist with account statements and check orders

Process teller transactions and fee collections

Sell Visa gift/travel cards and money orders

Input CTRs and send to BSA Compliance Officer

Participate in monthly developmental coaching sessions

Answer phones, process mail, and support other departments as needed

Maintain a clean, orderly, and confidential workspace

Routinely disinfect work surfaces and secure sensitive materials when away
Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required

At least 1 year of similar or related experience

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Ability to operate a personal computer

Knowledge of or willingness to learn credit union systems, products, and procedures
Note: Education and experience requirements may be waived for Co-Op students.
