CDI Engineering Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Consulting Engineers Limited (TCE), is a multi-disciplinary engineering organization offering a full range of integrated engineering design, project support, procurement and construction management services to the energy and chemicals industries.
Position Summary
Document Control Specialist - Compiles and maintains control records and related files to release blueprints, drawings, and engineering documents to manufacturing and other operating departments: Examines documents, such as, drawings, change orders, and specifications to verify completeness and accuracy of data.
Responsibilities
Make List of available Design Data - Person to search files and field to fill in EXCEL spreadsheet.
Convert data and put in Webtop and place data in correct file folders.
Update Vendor files; input and update drawings in system.
Maintain all Project and Master drawings for Team.
Track all drawings in and out of system.
Manage Data base.
Qualifications
Develop EXCEL Data base.
Rudimentary knowledge of process equipment (pressure vessels, distillation columns, heat exchangers, rotating machinery, etc.).
Knowledge of how to read drawings.
Petrochemical Plant experience.
Microsoft Office software, Excel, Webtop.
Must have communication skills with operators, mechanics, technical, etc.
Education Requirements
High School Diploma.
